Canva Homepage

In 2024, I led a full redesign of Canva’s homepage, reimagining its information architecture and introducing new patterns for discovering and creating designs. The result made creation faster and increased the diversity of different kinds of designs that users created. The design was patented and is still used for the logged in Canva.com homepage as of 2026.

Canva Print

When I joined Canva in 2019 I was given the opportunity to design a new product vertical from scratch: Canva Print. I established the end-to-end experience and core interaction patterns that enable users to transform their digital designs into physical products, starting with business cards. Today, Canva Print has scaled to thousands of products and contributes roughly 20% of Canva’s annual revenue.

‘Volunteers for Vinnies’

Volunteers for Vinnies is a concept I developed as part of a community outreach partnership with St Vincent de Paul Society. The app was designed to engage younger audiences in volunteering by reimagining the experience through gamification - introducing achievements, progress tracking, and shared goals to increase participation and sustained involvement.

Middelland Connected Platform

Middelland Connected is a digital platform that connects residents of the Middelland neighbourhood in Rotterdam to nearby community centres - empowering them to share resources and skills. This was a project I developed in partnership with the Rotterdam city council in 2019 .

Honeywell Building Manager

At Honeywell I designed user interface elements for a dashboard product that shows at-a-glance views of key performance indicators for buildings. These animations allow for detailed information to be shown, whilst minimising permanent clutter on the dashboard.
